Welcome
The mission of Academic Services is to support the educational mission of the Colorado School of Mines and to facilitate the achievement of academic success for all CSM students through the development and provision of resources that will:
- Promote high quality academic advising provided by departmental advisors.
- Provide academic support programs to strengthen study and learning skills.
- Facilitate the successful integration of freshmen and transfer students into the Mines community.
| Walk-in tutoring services are available to all CSM students for freshmen and sophomore courses (especially Calculus I, II and III, Differential Equations, Physics I and II, and Chemistry I and II) as well as some upper-level courses. Tutoring begins in Van Dewerker Lounge and Mines Park Community Center on Sunday, September 6, 2009.

Academic Excellence Workshops are designed for the student who wants regular, in-depth assistance to master information in a specific course. Workshops (Calculus I, Chemistry II, and Physics I) begin the week of September 7, 2009. |
